He is an author and a co-author of more than 170 works including 3 monographs. The most significant are his fundamental works about lidar sounding of ocean and atmosphere. He creates the theory of wave backscatter in multivariate random spheres. 6 Ph.D. theses and 4 doctoral theses were successfully defended under his leading. Since 2010 he is a member of the Dissertation Council on doctoral thesis and Ph.D. thesis presentation in KamchatSTU. He takes an active part in organization and conducting international conferences and seminars for young scientists «Solar-terrestrial Relationship and Earthquake Signs» (in 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2013). He is an organizer of the regular interdisciplinary seminar «Physics of Space and Geospheres» in Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Radio Wave Propogation FEB RAS.
