He is an expert in technology of meat, dairy and fish products, refrigerating production and biotechnology of foodstuff. He is an author of more than 100 scientific and academic works including monographs, patents, publications in international journals and proceedings of international conferences, study guides endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. He is the head and the chief executor of research works. 4 Ph.D. theses were successfully defended under his leading. He constantly improves the skills including by training abroad (USA, Japan, South Korea and others). He is an academician of International Academy of Ecology, Man and Nature Protection Sciences and a member of Russian Biotechnological Society. He was awarded the medal «Honorary Figure of Higher Professional Education of Russian Federation», the diploma «Golden Department of Russia» of the series «Gold Reserves of National Science»
