Doctor of Biological Sciences, Leading Scientific Researcher of Kamchatka Branch of the Pacific Institute of Geography of the Far Eastern Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences , Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russian Federation. She is an expert in ecology, hydrobiology and science about biological resources. She is an author of 215 works published in Russian and international scientific journals, collections of scientific papers, scientific conference proceedings and abstracts. Among them 20 articles are in the journals indexed by Scopus, 30 articles are in the journals indexed by Web of Science. She is an author of 1 patent, 7 author’s monographs and 3 collective monographs. Three of her monographs are presented in the Library of the USA Congress. The results of her research were twice included in the collection of scientific achievements of Russian Academy of Sciences. She takes an active part in staff training.  9 Ph.D. theses and 1 doctoral thesis were successfully defended under her leading. At present she guides research study of post-graduates. In 2001– 2007 she was the deputy and the chairman of Dissertation Council on Ph.D. thesis presentation in KamchatSTU. In 2004–2008 she was a member of the Dissertation Council in North-East State University (Magadan). Since 2010 she has been a member of the Dissertation Council on doctoral thesis and Ph.D. thesis presentation in KamchatSTU. She has an extensive editorial experience. Many times she took an active part in international conferences, workshops and forums (Japan, South Korea, etc.). She represents Russia in the committee of Asia-Pacific Phycologic Forum. She was invited to foreign universities for lecturing, carrying out joint scientific research and works on scientific grants. She is registered in the Federal Register of Experts in Research and Technology.
